Michele Stewart

Following in the footsteps of her older brother and sister, Michele joined the Campbelltown-Camden District Band at 7 & since then has competed as a soloist at many regional, state and national events & as a member of various bands including St Mary's, Yagoona, Blacktown, City of Sydney Concert and Holroyd. Michele has won the NSW cornet title on 10 occasions - 5 consecutively, and has been Champion of Champions five times. She was the National Champion of Champions in 1997, winning the Ern Keller Trophy in the same year. Michele was a Manufacturing Jeweller up to mid 1999, when she swapped her tools for a Trumpet position in the NSW Police Band.
