Robert Turner

Robert was born somewhere in the Old Dart between 3rd March 1928 and 17th October 2004. Neither Interpol nor ASIO can be any more specific on the actual date.

Following his birth Robert’s parents soon discovered that he was in fact English. After getting over the initial shock, it was decided to keep him.

Robert moved around the English countryside in search of a calling and a square meal. Neither were available or desirable. During his pilgrimage across the Northern Hemisphere Robert stumbled across an old car horn which he adapted to play in Chalk Farm Band of the Salvation Army. After a considerable number of years the membership of that band discovered the horn had come from a 1962 Ford Anglia. This was not viewed favourably and soon after Robert was transported to Australia where he took up duties with Sydney Congress Hall Band.

As the 1962 Ford Anglia horn can not be played in tune in the southern Hemisphere, Robert had to settle for the cornet section.

Robert has probably done some other stuff since his birth, but we won’t know until he submits his bio for use on this site.
